Eleven2 Hosting was formed back in early 2004 between two frustrated web developers who just simply couldn't find any good hosting options on the Internet. When eleven2 Hosting was formed, it combined 2 reseller accounts from 2 different providers and brought close to 30 accounts together onto one dedicated server. Very quickly, eleven2 Hosting then began learning what web hosting actually was. Now with more than 60,000 web sites behind us and years of experience, eleven2 has become a world-class hosting provider that is here to stay.

Through the years, we've been faced with many challenges which we have always overcome with great excellence, including the building of our own state-of-the-art data-center facility and re-inventing our company through the development of our own in-house automated support system and the re-launch of the new eleven2 Hosting web presence in July of 2007. The founders have invested thousands of hours and hundreds of thousands of dollars into this new phase of eleven2. We are very excited to be where we are, and we are further excited to see where we will go in the future.

Our goals are simple and can be phrased simply: We aim to inspire change in the way people think about hosting. In 2004, when eleven2 was founded, we knew that we had to be different. We knew we had to care more about our customers that we did about ourselves. We also knew that we had to care more about what's going on in the world than other hosting companies. We had to inspire change.

When eleven2 was founded, there were a number of hosting companies out there that people were describing as the "bad" hosting company. These companies were not in the best interest of their clients. We know because we were once clients of bad hosting companies. Where other companies were true to their pocketbooks and dollar signs, we quickly realized the need for a company that was true to its word and true to its clients.

Three years later, we are staying true to our goals of inspiring change. We have made promises and given you guarantees. Above those, however, we have decided that we want to go even above and beyond. So, to do just that, we want you to know that it is our goal to reach our community and reach our world in ways that no hosting company has ever done before. In the weeks and months to come, we will be launching a series of sites that that we're more than proud of. The first of these sites being .NET and the second being .ORG.
