ID protection

Hi, I was trying to register a domain and was at the domain configuration page whereby a ID protection add-on was offered. May I know if my identity would be protected if someone does a WHOIS on my website if I do not opt for this option? Thank you!

Eliminating Email Spam for Clients

I have a client who has 51 employees using email accounts. I have enabled Spam Assassin and tried my best to work through the system to increase security and spam protection, but I'm running into a brick wall. E2's suggestion was to possibly move them to Google Apps. Google Apps seems like a great fit, but my customer presented me with a question I couldn't answer; their last host was offering similar services, but they received no spam, so why should they need to pay $255 a month simply for more secure and spam-free email?

I agree with their sentiment, and so far as I can tell their last host was also using a reseller system -- but what were they doing differently? I would like a fix if possible, and one that is not going to cost them an exorbitant amount of money every month.

Dear Valued Customer,

We are contacting you today to let you know about a server upgrade we will be performing starting this evening on your account on the server, s8a7.welcomesearchers.com, we will be migrating your account seamlessly to a brand new server with more resources and more importantly running on a 64-bit architecture. We know this upgrade will greatly benefit your account with faster response times and better server uptime.

We are starting this upgrade tonight at 5:00pm CST and need to perform this upgrade tonight with the short notice here as we have been having ongoing intermittent issues on your current server which this planned upgrade will resolve.

You will not need todo anything as part of this upgrade and this is simply a courtesy e-mail to notify you of the benefits and upgrades we are announcing here. This upgrade does move each account on your server individually and can take up to 24 hours to complete, however, you should not experience any downtime as part of this seamless upgrade.

We look forward to continue serving you with the best hosting available on the Internet and in the future to come.

Thanks again,
