Hey,

I'm having issues getting any E-mail client for Mac OS X, including default Mail.app and Thunderbird to allow me to send mail from my e-mail account on my eleven2 shared hosting. However I can still receive and read mail sent to me. Any ideas or fixes?

What port are you using for outgoing mail? If you are using port 25 try port 26. Or vise versa. Some ISP block mail on port 25 so we have port 26 available. If still nothing see if your ISP has any documentation on the matter I know att uverse has some werid things you have to setup and then you still have to use their SMTP server.

Let me know if that helps. :)

I may just have to contact Verizon FiOS about this then cause no matter which outgoing mail server i use "mail.jamespickens.me" or "golf.unisonplatform.com" it just wont connect. That includes trying to use different ports, SSL, authentication, and vice versa.

I would try port 26.

Allot of ISP's block port 25 so you cannot spam out of their connection.
Its not really a issue here with us at all, just lots of folks like Verizon, ATT and Comcast and many others do block the default port.
