I would like to say I have been with some other hosting companies and never seen such a good communication while they were working on restoring the service.
Keep up the good work.
Thanks to Scott & support team.

Although im dissappointed at the downtime which has basically been all day for me as im in the UK and it went offline quite early. I have to praise the efforts of SharkSpace.

Its a Sunday for a start which i can understand SharkSpace probably have a little less support etc for Sundays as its the day of rest :) even though its a Sunday the staff have been great answering the support tickets in uber quick time and also Scott updating us.

Yes i know its a days revenue lost but its good to see the SharkSpace and the staff are doing all they can. The sites are now comign up online so hopefully all will be well when i wake up in the morning.

Just goes to show that SharkSpace are doing all they can to keep the customers happy. I guess these things happen in life dont they......

Keep up the good work guys!

It's really hard to avoid downtimes.
After all, nothing is perfect. Especially technology, right?
Still, good to know that sharkspace can make up for this.
Thanks for sharing. :)

Under stochastic conditions it is unavoidable that in some periods the inventory on hand is not sufficient to deliver the complete demand and, as a consequence, that part of the demand is filled only after an inventory-related waiting time. In an inventory optimization model, the amount of late deliveries can be influenced through the introduction of penalty costs (backorder costs) into the objective function. In addition to the optimal parameters of the inventory policy under consideration, from the optimal solution of such a model also the optimal size of backorders can be derived. Unfortunately, this optimization approach requires that the planner know the optimal value of the backorder costs. As these costs are difficult to quantify in practice, the logistical performance of an inventory node in a supply network is measured with the help of technical performance measures. The target values of these measures are set by the decision maker.
