After all the forum topics related to this have been locked off one by one, I have been unable to reply so am started a thread for this (no threats or hate speech here or they'll do the same no doubt).

Also, just a tip: to avoid my websites being plain unavailable during this extended downtime, I've pointed my domain's name servers to a spare hosting account with a 'temporarily unavailable' page so my clients know what's going on. This change usually takes time to propagate so it's up to you if it's worth it or not... my 2 cents.

Thank you for this idea... We still do not know how long more this down time will continue, so it is worth trying...
