I've seen some negative experiences with Cloud Hosting listed here. I am getting ready to deploy a large, multi-site project with a very well known organization and was looking toward Cloud Hosting to provide great performance, but it seems as if the price for the service and level of support you acquire are disparate.

Anyone have luck thus far? Or, perhaps, know a better option?

Hi there Silverjerk,

Our Cloud platform is perfect for deploying large projects. We happily host 1000s of people on our cloud infrastructure. Everything from large blogs, to online applications.

We are also in the process of hiring more technicians for the Cloud Team, and are also making it much easier to manage cloud servers with an all new interface we're be rolling out shortly.

Let me know if you have any questions and i'll be happy to help.

Andy, I understand the necessity for a rote response. It's in your job description. But cutting through the fluff, I require a platform with 24/7 support -- chat support is an absolute must -- as well as the ability to have some control over my administrative services.

With my normal reseller account my administrative control is limited. Take a look at my account -- at the dozens of emails I had to submit to make changes I have the knowledge to make on my own -- why have SSH enabled when I can't recursively delete a folder? I've seen a few individuals who have remarked on the poor cloud server support, which is a massive selling point for me.

I was looking for a response from the COMMUNITY. If you mean to persuade me into using this service, you're going to have to do better than a cut and paste CRM reply -- the very fact that there is little to no activity here (and that the activity that is currently on the site is negative of late) is a bad sign.

Right now, in my eyes at least, your competing for my business with Rackspace's partnership program. Sell me...
