Hey All,

Yesterday evening I checked out that new social network just for iPhone and Android platforms called Path.

It's super quick compared to the Facebook iPhone app (which is sluggish). But I'm just wondering how do they actually make money? Or better yet, how 'will' they make money.

In principle they could use more subtle advertising models with super-targeted ads as they are going to know quite a lot about users, but it still sounds a bad fit with their strong focus on privacy.

Perhaps a premium based service where users have to pay?

I am actually using Path. It's just a way to cnnect more with your friends. I think it's built for convenience. There is no premium pay here. I think just advertisements.
