There is a Ruby on Rails icon in cPanel that you can manage your application and create everything right through there!

It does not seem to work, I tried to create a Rails app and it failed: "Your app is NOT installed because there was a problem. Try again or contact our support team."

Then I tried to install Rails 3.1 and got this error:

ERROR: Error installing rails:
ERROR: Failed to build gem native extension.

/usr/bin/ruby extconf.rb
creating Makefile

make
gcc -I. -I/usr/lib/ruby/1.8/x86_64-linux -I/usr/lib/ruby/1.8/x86_64-linux -I. -fPIC -g -O2 -fPIC -c bcrypt_ext.c
make: execvp: gcc: Permission denied
make: *** [bcrypt_ext.o] Error 127

Gem files will remain installed in /home/hugover2/ruby/gems/gems/bcrypt-ruby-3.0.0 for inspection.
Results logged to /home/hugover2/ruby/gems/gems/bcrypt-ruby-3.0.0/ext/mri/gem_make.out
