We have been having increased raid degradation issues on s3c8.welcomesearchers.com as due to these issues, we will be taking this server offline this evening at 11:00PM CST to replace the backplane in the server.

Based on us already switching out the raid card, raid cable and multiple drives, we feel the backplane (which is a small electronic circuit board, which allows for hot swapping of drives on the server) is going bad.

This should take roughly 45 minutes to complete. We hope this is done much quicker and will update this thread once this is completed.
