We have a brand new forum and to kick this off and hopefully get some valid meaningful postings, we are running a contest. First forum member to get too 100 post points (meaningful post, not spam) will receive a free 16GB Wifi iPad!

We will ship to anyone in the US and anyone outside the US can receive cash prize instead.

I will be personally moderating our forum going forward, so this is a great chance to get to known all of us here at Eleven2 as well as get a FREE iPad!

To prevent spamming and meaningless postings, we are going to require a ratio of 4/10.

For every 10 responses you post, you need to start 4 new 'threads'!

Yes, we will remove (not count) the dumb postings that just say things like 'cool - cant wait or good job' but doesnt mean you cant post em

As long as it stays moderated, I think it is a great idea. There are so many things we can discuss on here. I just hope they expand the topics out like you mentioned in a different post. I don't want to post about design and developing in the general forum because then it just gets bogged down with too many different topics.

This is definitely the case.

We are NOT counting any of the BS postings like 'love that idea' or 'great idea' or 'cool'.

Once someone feels they got 100 postings, send me a message and I will tally it up!

This is great! Very good idea and a great opportunity to build great resources for hosting and an eleven2 specific knowledge base. Love the challenge and look forward to all the great content that will be generated because of this.

As I am curious, who won and has the winner been contact yet about the iPad?

Is the prize a First Generation iPad or Second seeing as the new one is the same pricing?

I won the contest, and it just arrived about 20 minutes ago. I chose the iPad 1 since there's not much difference between the first and second one other then a camera and faster performance, and I didn't want to wait.
