I want to have wildcard dns support for the script that I installed which assigns random sub-domains. I do not find any option for it in cPanel. Is it possible to have wildcard DNS support ?

Yes, we provide support for Wildcard DNS. Since it has to be configured from our side, please submit a Help Desk ticket with the domain name and we will configure it for you.

Update: You can set up wildcard DNS yourself by going to your cPanel > Subdomains and creating a new subdomain of *.yourdomain.com and setting the directory as public_html.

Nice to finally have this. Is there an extra cost for it?
When in doubt, use brute force.
