I am starting to learn Python and would like to use it on my sharkspace shared hosting account along with the Django framework.
Is this possible?
If yes, can you provide recommendations on the best way to install it OR point me to online information that will assist me.
If no, would you provide me with your recommendation of where I can find hosting with Python?
I have the Hammerhead package and I am very very happy with Sharkspace so far.
Thank you very much for your time.

We support python scripts on our servers, however Django framework is not available.

A better question is would be "Is Mod_python enabled in the apache httpd.conf file?"
LoadModule python_module modules/mod_python.so
Thanks again!

python_module is not available. Installation of Django will require root access.

Thanks again.
Just so it is crystal clear: I can only run Python as CGI scripts with Sharkspace. Is this correct?

Hey yogizoli,
Unfortunately Django isn't available on our shared plans. You will need a Cloud Server if you wish to install it.
