I wanted to personally post about the status of one of our London servers, Xray.

We have noticed sporadic subpar performance of this server, due to the remote nature of this server for us, as we use parters in our international locations, which in turn lease us dedicated servers. We are going to start a migration process from this server to a brand new server, once full testing of this new server is completed.

This is going to be a massive upgrade in terms of both CPU and Memory.

We are moving to the brand new Intel Dual E5-2620 CPU. This server will also have 32GB of ram compared to our existing server of 24GB.

We are working to prepare this new server right now, and this could take some time for our engineers to fully complete this.

Once this new server is prepared, we will be updating this thread to let each of you know of the time we start this migration.

We do believe this migration will start in about 24 hours.

We do sincerely apologize about any inconvenience this slowness and latency might have caused, this is definitely not the way we intend to treat our customers and we are working on a full resolution as fast as possible here with a brand new upgraded server.

As with all our migrations, as long as you setup your hosting accounts to use our DNS, you will not suffer any downtime during the process, we have a very integrated and detailed migration process that allows for a seamless move such as this.

I will personally be involved in this migration and will update this thread as soon as we have an update.

If anyone has any direct questions, please e-mail me at rodney@eleven2.com or call me directly at 281-374-4957

We are still awaiting the deployment of these new servers, the parts are very hard to get as they are so new, we are deploying lots of these, and our supplies has informed us that they will be online tomorrow.

If all goes as planned, this migration should start Wednesday evening. I will update this thread right before it starts.

This migration is now starting. If you have any questions, please e-mail me directly at rodney@eleven2.com

We do apologize for the delay here as we were waiting for our new equipment and wanted to throughly test it before any migration.
